Simple urine test can predict fatal pregnancy condition: research

A simple urine test carried out mid-pregnancy could predict which women will go on to suffer from a potentially fatal complication. article source
I am surprised they have not found a reliable test for preeclampsia before now. I suffered this some 40 years' ago and narrowly escaped death shortly after my twins were born. Sudden fitting is common side affect and should this happen during childbirth itself is very dangerous indeed.

"None of the women with normal pregnancies tested positive for the kidney cells, showing the test is highly accurate." It does nothing of the kind. How many of the 30 women that went on to develop preeclampsia or had high blood pressure tested positive and how many of these women tested negative? How can you write an article and omit this essential information?
